Fingers crossed that this will come out at last, there have been quite a few false dawns. When the idea of Y Byd was first raised in 2003 (or was it 2002) you had an option to be an investor, or a supporter for £25 (which entitled you to a £30 discount on the 1st years subscription when the paper was finally published). I went for the supporter option, even though I did share some of fears the many 'nay-sayers' had about whether it would ever happen.
My, and everyone else's reading patters have changed quite abit since then, so I was pleased to hear that the paper will be available on-line. 1 year subscription on-line is £80 and paper version £120-odd I think.
At last week's Eisteddfod I signed up for the on-line option, as anyone who signs up now also get a free add in the paper.

false dawns, sounds like the Gaelic television channel but there may be some movement on that at last.
I really wish I had some Welsh. Must try harder lol, the trouble was I spent a few months in Britanny this year and that got me going with Brezhoneg beforehand, during and after. I think I need a Welsh immersion course to get me off the starter's blocks lol.
